This is a sleekly designed GPS enabled sports watch which is simple to setup, easy to read when you are on the move and jam packed with features that will help you reach your performance goals.

The Garmin watch weighs just over two and a half ounces and measures  0. 6 X 2.1 X 2.4 inches, so you’ll hardly feel it on your wrist.

The lithium ion battery that’s included has a twenty hour life which is more than enough for a series of GPS tracked workouts before it needs to be recharged.

If you’re a triathlon competitor and have to switch from one event to the next, just press a button and the multi-sport feature seamlessly transitions into the next event without wasting time.

For runners, walkers or cyclists, this watch can also captures and keeps track of your distance, time and even your elevation via a barometric altimeter. For those with a greater budget there is even an option for  heart rate monitoring if you wish more functionality.

This watch is also great for swimmers in open water or a pool and is water resistant up to fifty meters, or one hundred and sixty-four feet.  You can also keep track of swim strokes, distance and stroke identification.

To make the most of your workouts, you can connect to Garmin Connect, an online program that allows you to design workouts, track your data and see improvements.  If you exercise at night, just tap the watch face twice and the watch lights up so you can see how you’re doing in the dark.

Not only are there a lot of built in features with the Garmin Forerunner 910XT sport watch, there are a bunch of accessories to make using this watch a lot easier.  The USB Ant stick tracks your information.  To charge your Garmin Forerunner, there’s an A/C charger and charging clip, an expansion strap for your wrist and a user manual to help with any questions you might have.

Overall, customers love the Garmin Forerunner 910XT.  They enjoy the easy to navigate screens and how easy it is to see everything.

Some customers complained about hardware glitches that made the watch freeze up on the odd occasion, or that the GPS took a while to connect.  But once the GPS connected to the satellite, it worked great, so a little patience might be needed.

Although some customers said that the buttons on the sides of the watch were hard to press, other users said this was a good thing, that way they didn’t accidentally bump something during a workout and mess up their results – it all comes down to personal preference.  With all of the great features this is a good watch for any level athlete that is looking for a great workout device.
